  Just to be clear based on a couple of questionable reviews...there is plenty of room in this great restaurant with superb food and wonderful service. This place is the real deal. Spicy!! Cajun seasoning spot on. Voodoo pasta was amazing...huge portion. My husband had the Cajun sampler. The gumbo, étouffée, red beans/rice and jambalaya were all outstanding. Glad we came in on our first ever Banner Elk trip. We'll be back!

  We ate here for New Year's Eve based on a recommendation from a local server, and had a nice experience. The Voodoo Pasta was awesome, as was the Shrimp Gumbo. Be careful though because it's very spicy (I loved it). Red Beans and Rice had lots of sausage and good flavor too. Nice place to visit while in the Banner Elk area

  We've made coming here a tradition every time we visit the mountains. The atmosphere is really laid back, more of a locals joint than a fancy restaurant. The staff treat you like an old friend not just another patron! Def the best place to watch a big game!! The beer is cold and the food is hot (and tasty too). We will keep coming back every year!!!
